dean_williams
I was out yesterday taking a few in the sunshine. I got up this morning figuring to go take some more. Nope. That'll teach me to taunt my eastern friends with shots of blooming orchards and forsythia. Anyway here's a page to see some of the stuff from yesterdays prairie. Looks different now. Prairie Shots
Dean

glenn_thoreson
Nice sharp photos! Spring? Ha, I don't believe it until July and even then, I'm skeptical.
michaelging
Dean , nice photos, beautiful clouds. Here in Phoenix, we have 3 days of fall,3 days of winter, 3 days of spring, and all the rest are summer. AND you notice we are in the process of global warming , not cooling, suck it up snow people. :)
connealy
Nice work with those old cameras.
No snow to speak of this year in southern NM, but we're into a typically breezy Spring which makes wildflower shots problematic.
dean_williams
Thanks all. We have names for our seasons here, like everywhere else. Snow, more snow, still snowing, and construction.
gene m
Gorgeous shots. This forum is a constant source of inspiration for me. BTW. It's going to be 50 degrees here today. It hasn't been 50 for months. I saw my first crocus yesterday.
janice_mackay
Lovely shots Dean - makes me want to get out into the countryside here and take pics.
nancy_bueler
Hey Dean, where do you live? I live in (Toronto) Canada, and we also only have two seasons - winter and construction (okay, maybe three, if you count black fly season!). I love all your prairie shots, but especially Little Shack on the Prairie. Something about it just draws me in. Beautiful. Nancy
jack_lo_..._t_o
Nancy what part of Toronto do you live in that has blackflies? Dean, those are wonderful pictures. The first and the fourth on your page are stunning landscapes. It's quite a fine camera --still, isn't it? And the larger 120 format is so much better for this type of pic. dean_williams
Nancy; I live in northern Idaho, where the panhandle starts to get fat. John LP; The 515/2 is a pretty nice camera, considereing it was one of the company's entry level jobs. The first three photos were taken with the Zeiss, but the last one is from an Agfa Ansco Super Regent, a small 35mm folder.
