klsphoto
Just purchased a Sony SDM H95P LCD monitor. Awsome display, by the way, but I have a question about connecting two computers. The display has inputs for both analog and digital with a manual switch to change from one mode to another. Has anyone had any experience connecting two computers to this type of monitor, one with the analog input and one with the digital? I am currently using an A-B box to switch, but this sometimes produces a red cast on the monitor. I have tried two different A-B boxes with the same result. I'd appreciate your input. Thanks, Karen
david_lau3
I do not have your Sony LCD but I have used a few others. There should either be a button or a menu option to allow you to switch the input source (DVI/D-Sub). You probably need to read the manual. My experience with A-B box is their quality is usually not very good, especially the mechanical type i.e. those require you to turn a dial. The extra switches etc introduce noise that degrades the quality of output. The newer (and much more expensive) electronic switching type is better but still the best is to use your LCD to select the input source.
