don_mckeith
Does anyone know how to get at the horizontal adjustment.I looked on line, and found instructions for every model FED/Zorki made, except this one.I would think it would be behind the screw on the bottom left of the viewfinder(looking at the front) but after removing the screw, there is a very small hole-no way I'm getting a screw driver in there.Do I have to remove the cover? jonathan_stark
On my FED 2, a small turn of the screw causes a relatively large deflection in rangefinder alignment. You don't want to turn it much. Also, when adjusting for infinity, pick something that's a LONG way off - not the house across the street. Suprisingly it makes a difference. lesged
The moon is a nice object to set rangefinder at for infinity. Using a tripod makes life easier. Better to have the moon nearer to full than just a sliver. Good luck, Les

james_lai
Don, check Rick Oleson's page here on bringing infinity indoors. Much easier than trying to fiddle with the adjustments outdoors, especially if outdoors happens to be cold and snowy.
