george_borden
There's an outfit called Goodwin Photo auctioning filters made in India for Bay 1 mounts. Does anybody know about the quality of these filters or the reputation of this outfit? George Borden.
david_m
They also sell bayonet 1 shades but they are made of plastic not metal. I emailed the guy and asked what it was made from, he replied "plastic like the original". Oops, I don't think so.
greg_erker
Goodwin Photo is a good place. I bought some Bay 1 to 49mm filter adapters from them about 5 or 6 years ago. They were fairly poorly made. One required filing to fit onto my camera. But for the price I was reasonably happy. I also bought an old Ricoh Diacord from them and was happy with the transaction. Email them and ask about their return policy. Greg
lancemcvay
I bought a metal Bay-1 to 49mm adapter from <a href="http://www.thecamerahunter.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=TCH&Product_Code=BI49&Category_Code="target="new">TheCameraHunter.com</a>. It fits beautifully on my Ricohs and Yashicas. Shipping was very fast and next to nothing. I use that along with 49mm filters of various vintages which I've gotten off of ebay.
