susan_flewelling
Is there something I can do in photoshop to make a regular photo look like I did it on a fisheye? I had my lense stolen and the next wedding wanted something in my portfolio done but I needed a fisheye. Just wondering if anyone knew how to do something of the sort. Thanks Susan
brandonhamilton
If you knew they wanted that, why not rent a fisheye for the day? I don't know how you can accurately modify a normal perspective picture to look like a fisheye...
afs760bf
You can do it in Paint Shop Pro by going to EFFECTS > DISTORTION EFFECTS > LENS DISTORTION > FISHEYE. The problem you have, however, is that if you take a photo with a regular fisheye lens, you get a 180 degree view, so you get a lot of information. If you transform a photo taken with a 50mm lens into a fisheye, you don't have enough in the photo to make it look believable. But it does perform the distortion. You might want to take a look and see how you like it. I'd be pretty sure PS does the same thing, but I'm not sure how. Best Regards.
chris_s___hampton_roads_va
you might be able to get close to the effect you're looking for, using filter/distort/spherize...
wedding-photography-denver
PS or PSP, they do about the same. You have to mess to get anything believable (by another pro amyway), but it does ok. Best, D.
stephen_kruft
I agree you should rent one - or there are inexpensive fisheye "adapters" for normal lenses.
