vez483
Does anyone know why my 10d will not auto focus in any of the creative zones?
jon_austin
More information, please. Which lens(es) are you using? I know it implies stupidity (we're all guilty from time to time), but is it possible your lens has an MF/AF switch in the MF position?
vez483
I have 3 lenses. A 50 1.8, 28-105, and the 70-200 4L. All lenses are less than a year old. I bought the camera used so I don't know if it is something wrong with the camera or what.
vez483
Oh, and by the way it is in the AF position.
robert_davis7
Are you using CF-4 in the manual modes (where the * button activates the AF)? If so, that setting will not carry over into the creative modes. That oddity made me stumble when I switched modes once to discover every time I went to AF, the camera locked the exposure! :)
vez483
Thanks,it was the * button. I set it to work with the shutter release. I probably would have never figured that one out.
