aaronp Posted August 18, 2006 Share Posted August 18, 2006 Hi all, Does anyone have any idea how easy it is to buy film in Addis Ababa? Do you know prices and what types are available? Also, where exactly in the city I could get it? The same goes for processing (all I would need is negatives, prints would not be necessary). frank uhlig Posted August 19, 2006 Share Posted August 19, 2006 I would carry sufficent film into AA if I were to go there and have film resupplied periodically from B+H while shipping (fedex) film out to my trusted lab at home. But I am impressed with your desire of using local labs. May it work out for you. Are you going to be there for several months, and use hundreds of films? frank uhlig Posted August 20, 2006 Share Posted August 20, 2006 Fogging of film in carry-on xray machines is an urban legend to which it is too easy to succomb.
