terry_sholin
I was shooting fireworks photos and then some other low-light stuff and got D60's catchall Error 99. Continued t get it with both Sigma and Canon lenses. Turning the camera off and on, removing the main battery and putting it back in did no good. I reloaded the firmware, which cleared the error message. Everthing works fine now -- except the shutter and the flash are out of synchronization. I tried a Canon Spedlite 380 EX and it will not synch with it either. Flash fires fine and the shutter works fine -- they are just out of synch. Anyone have a way to get them back in synch? Or is my shutter mechanism going?Terry
julianradowsky
You migh have 2nd curtain sync set to on in custom functions. The flash will then seem out of sync on slow Tv
terry_sholin
I tried it with first curtain sync and second curtain sync and also restting all custom functions to default. Tried different ISO speeds. Shutter and metering still work fine without the flash. Flash only comes up when I hit the button. Had asmilar problem on a D30 at work once -- (the D30's electron gremlins just moved on one day and the camera has worked fine ever since.) Thanks for the custom function suggestion though. But that didn't work either. I'm still looking for help.
