N80 not accepting film

The other day my Nikon N80 stopped automatically loading film. It's

almost as if the camera doesn't know there's a film cartridge in

there. I've tried different rolls of film also. When I close the

film back, there's no sound of a struggle or anything. And as a

result I cannot load film into the camera. Any suggestions on how

to try and find out exactly what is wrong?

Try the two-button reset, taking the batteries out and inserting them back again. Though not related, might want to clean the DX contacts.

Set the Custom setting 1 to 0

or pres the shooter after closing the back.
