jlopez_perales
Hello, do anybody knows if all stroboframes put the shutter release down in the vertical position? If so, do you know of a bracket that flips to vertical but with the shutter release up, i.e. rotate the camera counter-clockwise just as if no bracket was attached? Thank you! gordon_kraeger1
I have the basic Stroboframe "Quickflip" and I didn't like the flash flipping to the bottom either. So I turned the frame around so that the logo faced me, turned around the flash mounting bracket on top and the flash now flips up. It has worked very well for me in this configuration. Ed_Ingold
The Stroboframe Press-T and Pro-T carry the flash on the right, so the camera rotates to the left for vertical shots. With those brackets, you hold the camera, not the bracket. The bracket is thinly padded for use simply carrying the camera, but offset forward so you can hold the camera during use. I have the camera flip bracket too. It was a waste of money - hard to use, and not enough vertical distance on the flash.
bob fowler
The QRS-35H from Custom Brackets (http://www.custombrackets.com) rotates CCW for verticals. I use it with a Nikon FM2n on an MD-12 (with an AH-3 tripod centering plate under the MD-12) and it works like a champ.
jlopez_perales
I also found in B&H the FlashFrame VF, is not expensive and I think it could work with out any modifications, it rotates CCW. Thanks all.
