jon_manchester
I took ownership of a Microtek i900 scanner. I would like to use vuescan; but, vuescan does not find my scanner. I tried USB and Firewire ports and same result. This scanner works fine w/ Silver Fast and the Microtek supplied software. Tried this configuration on a iBook 12" and a PowerBook 12" both w/ OS X 10.3.7 no luck. Has anyone been able to get this scanner to work w/ either configuration. awahlster
have you checked the list of supported scanners? Is it even supported by Vuescan?

bobmichaels
Jon: if you think it may be an OS X problem, you can connect it to my XP machine and see if my Vuescan sees it to find out for sure. Or, get Rick to download the Vuescan demo to his laptop and try that. Bob Michaels
t._l._burger
I started having the same problems after downloading the newest version of Vuescan. If only there was a way to get back the old one... If you happen to get it working, let me know! I love that program!
jeremy_holmes1
Have you tried contacting Hammick? Normally he is very helpful when it comes to addressing problems between his software and scanners. I have a i900 that I use on both a PC and a G5 PowerMac, and haven't run into this problem. Silverfast and SW Pro are what I normally use though.
