roger_michel
anybody that uses unsecure email through a provider like yahoo or google is just plain nuts.
joshchapman
Haha... there is no such thing as secure email, unless you encrypt it with some external program when you send it, and un-encrypt it when you recieve it. Gmail's no worse than your ISP's email.
andy m.
Why the perceived need for security? In the unlikely event that some unknown body wants to scan emails and ends up reading the mind-numbing detail of my (and most other people's) day-to-day personal messages (for security purposes?) they won't find it exciting. Gmail seems to be a fine sytem.
roger_michel
you can do your own email hosting and, as you say, it is not perfect, it does not go immediately and systematically into a DB.
geoff_sturm
So you're saying that every one of Yahoo's millions of email users should host their own mail? ridiculous.
anthony_m1
What is Gmail?
stephen_w.
Gmail is provided by Google with 1GB of memory, where the old Hotmail provided 2MB (pathetic, too much maintenance required), since increased to 250MB (in response to Gmail?). I use both.
