douglas k.
I've lost the instructions for my Digisix, and after not using it for many months am trying to remember how to set the EV compensation for calibrating the meter readings...It somehow involves removing and re-inserting the battery, then dialing in the compensation, but I cannot recall the details. Since some people on the forum use this meter, can someone please post (or email) the method? And yes, I am ready to withstand the many inevitable comments about the meter being too complicated, how I should buy a (insert name of poster's preferred meter), etc. But this is the meter I've got, and my memory sucks. Simple as that. Thanks, all.
greyhoundman
I have a pdf copy of the manual, if you'd like it. It's a 412 kb file. E-mail me at dswain54@yahoo.com.
jim_a
--remove battery for a few moments --replace. during self test keep the measuring key and also the function button pressed down until the accoustic signal sounds. Release the key to enter the Correction function. Use the measuring key M to enter or change the correction value Press the function button again to return the meter to normal measuring functions. felipe s.
I have a digiflash but I guess this works the same way on yours: -remove the battery and press one of the buttons to empty the memory -put battery back in, the meter will do a self test, during that test keep both keys pressed until the darn thing beeps -use the measure key to change the correction values -when youre done hold down the function key 'till the beep... cheers, Phil

__hank_boneroneo1
My extinction meter may not work too good at midnight Mass, but it don't need no batteries and no pdf rasp.
matt_m__toronto_
but does your meter tell the time and temperature? :) and does it fit in the smallest of shirt pockets with room to spare and weigh and ounce? there is a positive and negative to most things. dan flanders
The most negative thing I can think of is hsving the batteries die. And Murphy's law decrees that it will happen at the most inopportune time or when no fresh ones are available.
jschweigl
On the positive side it seems to be quite robust. I forgot my Digisix in a shirt pocket (damn, that would never happen with my trusty old Sekonic 398) when I put a load of clothes into the washing machine. It came out *really* clean. And dead. Turned out, after some drying and a battery change, that the only thing dead was the old battery but the Digisix worked like always.
