a._j._valys
Hi all,I just came across the following info from Nikon: A shipment of NikonD70 kits on their way to Spain were stolen from the Shiphol Airport,The Netherlands. The kits include the camera, 18-70G lens, battery, charger, leads, Eng/Spanish instructions, andwarranty cards. The camera serial numbers run from 4100064-4101203. Ifyou come across some unreasonably low prices, be on the lookout, checkthe serial numbers and notify the Nikon office near you/in your country. Just thought some of you may be interested.Happy shopping, Tony

yeux tortu
Just hope that, if you do buy one of these, you do not require Nikon service. Return delivery may be handled by Interpol.
robert_johnson15
That theft happened many months ago! I'm sure they are in well used condition by now!
frankie_frank1
I heard D70 takes very good indoor pictures, especially in the cell.
arnabdas
I'd rather go for a stolen D2h so that i could WiFi NEFs outside for post processing. BTW does one get electric power sockets in cells?
mkphoto
You're better off with an FM3a; no need for power, have them smuggle film into your cell via a giant novelty cake and then you can just roll of the film out under the bars when you're finished...
