Research a store? Reliable? Honest? How to tell?

Does anyone know of a website where you can check the

quality/service of a store/website? I found a good deal on a

lightmeter, but it's from a store on the other side of the country

that I have never heard of. I was trying to find a way to research

this store to find if they are trustworthy. Any advice would be

appreciated.

generally, if the prices are too good to be true, they usually aren't.

It's hard to go wrong with B&H or Adorama.

You could try looking them up on www.bizrate.com, if they're listed there you can see any customer ratings and reviews...but B&H and Adorama are my go-to places for gear, they may not always be the absolute lowest in price, but there are no gimmicks and they make good on any mix-ups.
