david-m
Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade the firmware on my D2X to the new v2.0 without having first upgraded to 1.1. (- I still just have v1.0). Many thanks David
david-m
To answer my own question - did the upgrade from v1.0 to v2.0 without a hitch. David
juan_parm_nides
Yes, I asked to my Nikon distributor in Canary Islands ant it ispossible. You D2X will be 99,999 % as a Nikon D2Xs. Regards.
johnnycake_.1
Yes. Moments ago, I just "went" from v1.0 to 2.0 without an intermediate upgrade. My D2X seems to be working fine. BTW. I think the directions from Nikon are poorly written... parts "A" and "B" should not even be on the same CF card when you start the upgrade... you truly have to upgrade the "A" and "B" components COMPLETELY separately... in every physical way! arthuryeo
I love the B&W sRGB mode after the firmware upgrade. It's quite nicely toned straight out of the camera.
mark_tupper
Wow! Just done the firmware 2.0 what a D2x upgrade! - I'll never use the crop mode - so I have a D2xs for free ! Thanks Nikon !
