Yes, it will take a GE #5 or Sylvania #25 and, if using color film you'd want the "blue"

version of the bulbs, #5B or #25B for color balance. Be sure you have the Sync set on the

side which shows the icon for a Bulb and not a lightning bolt.

Just about any flashbulb you can buy today will be old "new" stock. The Press 25B bulbs were made by Sylvania. It has been years since new ones were made. The "blue" part of the bulb is a thin foil-type covering. I can remember buying and carrying them by the bag-full on vacation! I would think the price today is based on the remaining stocks and they will probably only get more expensive as time goes by and stocks are used up. I am surprised you can still find as many types, although I'm sure the supply is extremely limited at best. If you want to "experience" bulb flash photography you need to do it now while you can.
