piotr_panne
As you wait for a panel expert to deliver a concise deliberate opinion I believe you are talking about a Leicatticgrandfaderkreigsmarineluftmachtwaffen which would be worth as much as any of the other 5000 for sale in the yellow cesspool, if you really had one. james_elwing
Just about the most common screw thread Leica available, along with the IIIc of the 1940's. It was a sophisticated camera for the time, with fast and slow speeds and interchangeable lenses; so it sold well. Value is related to condition, but don't expect to retire on the proceeds unless it says 'Love from Eva to her Adolf.
canfred
Hi Rudy Leica IIIa is correct but if this on has the 1/1000 sec. shutter speed its the model IIIa ( G ) McKeowns has the value at $ 200- 300 for this the camera needs to be as new. Photos would help. Any engraving even inside reduces value. The Summar too came in different versions most valuable is the fixed chrome less so the fixed nickel. Common is the collapsible here too a photo would help for top value the lens needs to be clear have no cleaning marks and free of fungus. The Summar in good order is a good lens but better is the Summitar. Clean and clear Summars are rare. Just where is Troppau?
