jim_norman2 Posted November 29, 2004 Share Posted November 29, 2004 I recently acquired a Hasselblad 503cx. I notice that a horizontal gray bar appears on the left side of the viewfinder. tarashnat Posted November 29, 2004 Share Posted November 29, 2004 Jim, To expand Ulrik's reply, it is the indicator for the TTL/OTF (thru the lens/off the film) flash system. If you have a flash connected to the TTL flash port on the left side of the body, then this indicator should be red when the flash is ready, and blinks after the exposure to confirm proper flash duration.
