Hasselblad Old Lens/ New Filter/ Loose Fit

Hi,

I have an older Hasselblad lens that's in good condition except for one

problem.

I installed a brand new UV filter for protection but, the fit is not as snug as it

should be because the bayonet on the actual lens is a little worn.

Is there anything I can do about this? I've thought about gluing it on with

something removeable for future removal. I'm afraid that if I'm not careful the

filter will fall off the lens under normal use..

Thank you in advance

Try adjusting the fit of the filter by gently pressing the filter "tabs" slightly downward. Let me clarify...There should be three pieces that fit onto the bay on the lens. Push these toward the front of the filter. Be careful and adjust in small increments. This should help the filter fit more snugly.

Ps, Listen Guys, Lighten up already. My question was obviously not written

perfectly, life is way too short, and we are all humans and very flawed. Good

luck to everyone and take great shots for the future of our craft.

Zach :-)

Ps, for those who are still on this dumb issue, maybe the problem is that you

need to get get laid... You will probably be disinterested and much happier..

Peace, love and Happiness!! Bye Yall!!

Rodger,

Thanks for your help. Ignore the comments that were writin about me. I asked

a very honest question and was bonbarded with nasty people telling me to

epoxy my lens together and other stupid shit. Don't be afraid to be of help and

keep the faith Baby!!! Stay real if you have any real balls...

Zachariah,

Don't waste you time with these idiots on here.

I looked up both your questions on this forum and they were valid and clear to

me.

Some people feel the urgent need to be rude trying to make others feel small

so try to understand that they have this need because deep down they feel

quite inadequate.

You can do the following adjustment of the filter bayonet:

Turn the filter with the front surface down and put it on a table.

Check the bayonet and see that there are three "tongues" acting as

springs to make friction to the lens bayonet. Carefully bend the three

"tongues" slightly outwards. Protect the glass with a stiff paper or

similar during this procedure. Don't bend the tongues more than

slightly. Check with the lens when you can feel a better fit happening.

Best regards and good luck!

C.V.
