gaijin
Geez Alex, what a monster. More doo-dads on it than an LA low rider's ride. My plain Jane M6 Wetzlar with 35 Summicron (3rd Gen). Svelt, unobtrusive, and pure Leica Wetzlar.

jorge
Alex, you naughty boy... Can't you just leave the hornet's nest by itself?

>>most fondable (sp?) Leica<<

As of now, Claude's yellow M4... But I'm planning on having my M2 painted in VW's Rohrgrün (Cane Green) one of this years colors for the Touareg, at my body and paint shop. I'm just trying to figure out how to dismantle it. ;-)

spider_.
Alex, what strap is that? It appears to offer good protection from the metal rings.

Alex_Es
The strap on my M6TTL is a modified Leica strap with leather protectors. I basically got rid of the Leica doodads and made it into a conventional strap. It's easy. The strap is very comfortable. The Abrahamsson Rapidwinder is great for fast shooting and when you want to be unobtrusive. The Rapidgrip is the shiny middle style. I put the leather on myself, Sad to cover all that shine but makes the grip infinitely gripable. The Softie is a special edition--Portland LHSA meet. I ought to keep it at home and use a ordinary Softie. I take this camera out with me every day. The stuff I have on it is absolutely useful. Here is a close-up of the strap. Shot with a a Pentax ist D and an old screw mount Takumar 55/1.8.

wgpinc
Just a quick shot. This one probably has a few more miles on it than most of these other fancy Leicas. Black taped 1m series M2 with 35 'lux asph and well worn hand made strap. Pic makes it look a lot dustier than it is.
