evan_sears
I'm about to get a 2000p, and I'd like to know what other people think the good papers are.
william_yu
For glossy paper, I use Pictorico High Gloss White Film, which has much less bronzing than Epson Premium Glossy. For semigloss, I use Epson Semiglossy paper. The White Film is my favorite for landscape.
james_flood
I use a 2000P with Nigara CIS G5 inks and have great results with Ilford Gallerie Smooth Pearl. Using QImage as my setup. I find that Epsons PLPP(preium luster photo paper) is slightly better but at almost twice the cost $175 vs $100 for 250. I am content to live with the Pearl. Next spring I plan on getting the Epson 4000 pro and then I will switch back to PLPP using the roll paper
evan_sears
James, What do you mean by "using QImage for your setup?"
james_flood
Re using QImage for setup. I use QImage (ddisoftware)for setting my picture quality. The program has some pretty good controls for setting the levels, croping, and a multiltude of layout options. Recognizes ICC's and has a lot of other features. They have a free download, try and buy. He also updates the software frequently (there is also a yahoo group for this software) I highly reccomend this for layout if nothing else. Vary easy to use.
