mike_bell3 Posted October 3, 2004 Share Posted October 3, 2004 shots like this could really benefit from a blue/yellow or a blue/gold polarizing filter. the light here is too harsh, you might try in either very early or very late light as it is much warmer (more yellow) and the shadows add contrast to the image. Using a wider lens or backing away therefore leaving room for more sky or water (or both) would give the image a better sense of place and add a sense of drama and scale.
