randy_skopar
I wanted to try this lens with Fuji's NPZ 800 film. Here's the result.<div></div>
cooper8168
I just got one as well and love it. I just shot at that very spot yesterday with my 2.8. Can't beat the size, but I also got a 2.0 for comparison and think I'll be keeping it and sending back the 2.8. Regardless of which one I keep, I think 28mm is my new favorite length....<div></div>
hique
I guess there's not much to conclude from your picture (small), but I can assure you that it is a fine lens. I got a bit dissapointed when realized that it didn't perform so well at infinity as it does close-up. A terrific close-up performer though. Good luck with the lens. luis triguez
I think it's a good start for candid pictures shoters. This one is taken blind waist level. Nikon F 28 Nikkor non AI TRi-X 400 ASA D-76 (1:1) 9' 45" 20C<div></div>
larry_miller5
The 28MM F2.8 AIS is a good lens for sure. Someone mentioned that it is sharper close rather than at infinity. They're right! If you can stand to go a little wider like the 24MM F2.8 AIS, you will get everything from close to infinity at maximum shaprness.
