icuneko
Excellent, Trevor! And, this looks incredibly similar to New Hampshire and Vermont in the US. No wonder it was named 'New' Hampshire.

kent_tolley2
Gorgeous view Trevor! It looks like dawn. The light, the color, and composition are beautiful to me but the haze and the muting to the colors and the surprising occasional building blows me down. Congratulations! terry_rory
Thanks Kent. (I am still cleaning sheep dung off me Docs!) The haze was unfortunate because I had forgotten to take a polariser with me today.<div></div>
kent_tolley2
I think it's perfect. The mist says England or New England to me and you can even see the dew on the grass. What I found hiding in the mist was a surprise. Is that a grave yard on the other side of the tall line of trees?
paul hart
I tink dem's cows, or perhaps very large sheep - probably what made the mess on his shoes.

simonpg
Trevor, they are superb - especially the first from Butser Hill. The haze is actually nice and real. It would be interesting if you'd note the lenses and film used. Thanks for sharing them.

abufletcher
Simon, I'd guess Trevor shot these with his new D70 in which case you need to replace your question about film used with the more modern questions: What was your workflow? Was this shot in RAW or JPEG? What WB setting did you use? Trevor, great photos. They motivate me to finish up my dissertation so I can come to submit it to the good folks at York! terry_rory
Thanks. Yes as you might be able to tell from the perspective I used a telephoto lenses. It was the D70 with a cheap (consumer grade) 70-300mm AF-D ED lens. White balance = auto. Hardly any 'workflow'. I applied a 'Provia' curve that I have pre-loaded on PS7 to lift it a little. Then cropped a tiny bit, re-sized and USM'ed for the web. Took less than a minute so does not qualify as 'workflow'.
