Leica R5 Exposure Correction Dial not working

My R5 exposure correction dial not working properly. This dial moves

when I change the ISO settings. I cannot select correct value if ISO

is set to 400 or more. Dial moves only one "+" value. Once I have

changed the value I cannot go back to "0". Hope this explains the

problem. I would appreciate if someone can help me with this.

Assuming that you are pressing the "ISO" release and turning the ring when you change the film speed; and pressing the "+/- release and adjusting the fingertip control when changing the correction settings (and not using the wrong control for what you are trying to adjust), then it sounds like your camera is in need of servicing.

The iso buttom at the bottom is for changing ISO, the +- dial should not move<p>

You cannot change the +- value without pressing down the "+_" button at the top.<p>

My R5 at ISO 800 can change +- dial from +2 to -2<p>

At ISO 1600 from +2 to -1 only<p>

At ISO 3200 from +2 to 0 only<p>

Check my R4:<p>

ISO 800 -2 TO +2<P>

ISO 1600 -1.5 TO +2<P>

ISO 3200 -0.5 TO +2<P>

 

It seems to me, for R4/R5 the shortened range at minus side only occurs at ISO 1600 or higher<p>

Thanks for all the comments. I need to send my camera for servicing, because this dial isn't working at all.
