Problem with film loading

Hi

 

I ma having some problem while loading film in one of my old camera

body EOS88.. When I load the film, instead of loading the film, the

camera rewinds it back into the film cartridge..

Make sure your mid-roll rewind button is not suck.

Try closing the back with no film in and firing the shutter. Then try loading the film.

<p>There's a known problem with some EOS bodies (I don't know if the 88 is one of them) such that if you've opened the back while a previous roll of film was still rewinding, the camera gets confused, and will continue to rewind any film you put into it.</p>

 

<p>I believe the cure is to remove the batteries, put them back in, and then try loading the film again.</p>
