tabeltop tripod for Medium Format ?

Dear All,

Thank you very much in advance for helping me out - in short I need a

very small tripod for just one set of photographs, with required

characteristics:

1. Ability to have its head to be at at least -45 degrees with respect

to horizon's plane.

2. Ability to steadily hold Hasselblad 500 in a windless and shakeless

environment (so it should not be heavy/steady, but should not be

turned upside down by Hassy's own momentum).

3. Adjustable legs' size.

for now I'm thinking something in between if Slik MiniPro-II, Giotto

Q-Pod, Culmann 50001 (looks real cool to me, or some generic Sunpak

like stuff ?

Could you please offer me an advise on which one to choose ?

I use the Manfrotto mini tripod(sorry, no model #)with one of their teensy ballheads. No adjustable legs but stout enough to steady old Bronica S series bodies(rather less petite than a 500 series 'Blad if you've not seen one).Adjustable legs on anything this small invites crashes since leveling is troublesome. The little Manfrotto+ballhead fits in a jacket pocket and is stable enough for square format.

What Gary said:

Manfrotto 3007 Tabletop Tripod Legs - US$14.95
Manfrotto 3007X Extension for Table Top Tripod - US$17.95
Slik SBH-120 Compact Ballhead - US$29.50

The Slik compact ballhead has panning rotation. The prices are from B&H a few months ago. Get the extension if you want it - it's stable. The little Slik ballhead is great. This rig is so light it has a permanent place in my camera bag.
