As a rule, no. There is a <a href="http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/consumer/consDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=28907797">current Epson 1280 promotion</a> where Elements comes bundled with a printer, and Adobe included a special upgrade price to buy a full version of CS, but you cannot use the "Upgrade" CS software with Elements.<p>From<a href="http://store.adobe.com/store/products/master.jhtml;storesessionid=GDWMMNVSUKFUXQFI0ILBLMOAVDJBIIV1?id=catPhotoshopUpgrade"> the Adobe website:</a><br><i>"Upgrade does not apply to Photoshop Elements, Photoshop Album, Photoshop Limited Edition, or PhotoDeluxe licensed users."</i><p>There are other options for getting CS for a lower price. You can upgrade the OEM versions of Elements that came free along with some hardware to CS for $300. But there is no upgrade path for the $99 version of Elements to the $599 version of CS.

 

It is sometimes cheaper to buy an Epson printer or scanner that includes Elements and upgrade to CS than it is to buy CS outright. Strange but true.
