rick_robinson2
I am looking for a larger camera bag for my dslr equipment. I was all set to buy another Lowepro, when I started reading about the Gladstone line of camera bags. They sound like exactly what I am looking for. Has anyone used these bags? If so, how is the quality and where can you buy one in the U.S.?

furcafe
I think he's referring to the Gladstone line made by Camera Care Systems (CCS, http://www.ccscentre.co.uk/).

rick_robinson2
Yes, I am looking for the Gladstone bags by CGS. Has anyone owned and used these bags? If so, how is the quality (vs. Billingham, etc.)?
felipe s.
Rick, If the Gladstone is nearly as well made as the Heritage series go buy it. I am yet to see a better quality bag than the heritage I bough recently. They seem to be definetly up to par if not better built than the billinghams, the canvas feels amazingly tough and after testing it in medium to heavy rain I recon it is actually waterproof. So if you get a chance, make sure to check out the heritage as well. If I remember correctly they are slightly more expensive than the Gladstone, but they may be worth the extra money. Best, Phil
