awahlster
Go east up the McKenzie river on hwy 126 great natural areas along the road. Other then that it would help to know what type of photography you are into I live about 75 miles North In Silverton and travel to and around Eugene quite a bit. Will you have a car? What time frame do you have?
kostak
I agree with the previous post regarding 126. There are a number of nice covered bridges (http://www.odot.state.or.us/eshtm/cb.htm) & waterfalls (Proxy Falls & a couple of others) in the area. Of course, not to far from the 3 sisters area either.
klsphoto
Sorry, should have mentioned arriving by private aircraft and renting a car. Should have 2-3 days for day trips. Looking for landscape and nature photos. May fly over to Bend/Sunriver area one day. Thanks for all of your suggestions!
awahlster
Karen if you go over Bend way and have access to a car (which really you should drive to Bend, it's only a couple of hours from Eugene) Then be sure to check out Lava Butte and the High Desert Musuem. Last time we were there they had a family of river Otters in a natural incloser great for snaps if your fast.
