william_shepard
I'm looking at the Cambridge Camera Exchange's ad for the Cambron Pro Six, a Hassy lookalike. Only $699 for the outfit. Is it any good or a waste of $$$? Does it rank with seagull. lubitel, etc. or is it better?
chun_in_martinez
I don't have any clue as to the quality of the Cambron Pro Six but if you have to deal with Cambridge Camera Exchange to buy it, it's not worth it. Besides for that price you can get a very used 500 C/M which is much better. From my own experience it's never a good idea to buy an inferior camera because of the low price. It's always worth looking for a nice used one from the more expensive brands unless there's no big difference in quality. And I believe that there's a huge difference between this camera and any other major camera manufacturer brands.
altaf
699! Listen at that price range you have a hell of a lot more options, get a pentax 6x7 MLU body w/ 100 mm lens and enjoy, if your going to go cheap, then go cheap 150 bux or less. For 699 the pentax 6x7 or mamiya 645 is a MUCH better bang for your buck.
