Thanks for the interesting article.

I have seen the Olympus bellows in the used section

of camera stores before, a lovely piece of equipment.

But, I am curious, were you able to mount it

to your camera without an Eos/Olympus adapter ?

If such a thing exists.

Some of the Olympus bellows lenses use a RMA lens mounts and mounts on any bellows with RMA->'brand' lens mount. Check with the camera-lens company. I use the Olympus 38mm bellows lens on the Minolta bellows which uses a RMA-Minolta adaptor for their 12mm and 25mm micro lenses.

 

Someone posted a list of the bellows lenses and lens mounts, and if I find it, I'll post it. It's worthwhile to know what other brand lenses you can use on your bellows.

I think it is RMS mount (Royal Screw). Tominon 35mm lens does alright as well and is far cheaper.

An EOS-OM adapter exists, but it is rather expensive

For now I am using a home made adapter from plastic caps, as described on the webpage. I will experiment on fitting a EOS-Tmount adapter onto the autobellows soon.
