jerry_diakiw
my dodge and burn and clone tools aren't working even on a single layer. Have I locked them somehow?Jerry
zcreem
I don't how you get this problem, the only thing I could offer would be you are working on a layer below the visible one, but as you have this problem on a single layer, I don't know. Sorry.
Jeremy Stein
The most likely thing is that you have an active selection, and so those tools are only working in that selection and you can't see their effect. Press control-D and that should deselect everything. Then try the tools again. If that doesn't work, close the file you are working on and try another file - one with only one layer - and see if the tools work there.
heller_harris
I get the same problem sometimes. It appears that I've locked the layer, even if there is only one layer. I don't what I've hit, but I can't do anything other than close PS. When I restart, I can work again. Did you try that?
heller
HollywoodScriptAnalysis.com
jerry_diakiw
yes it appears the layer is locked and even when I change images or restart the opening layer is always locked . How do I unlock it? Jerry
