Chris, nice shots. The pics of the subject are great, but what's

more compelling are the secondary characters...the frustrated

pitcher throwing his glove, and the infielder in the background

with his head/eyes to the ground. Nice work.

 

Carl, that sequence was just holding down the shutter, knowing

that there was going to be a play at second. Getting the error

from the shortstop was a bonus. Lucked out.

Just a reminder that the general rule for photo.net forums is that posted images should be within 511 pixels on the long side. We are not very strict about that rule, but please don't post images that greatly exceed that limit.

 

Some people still use dial-up modems and it takes a long time to download large images. Moreover, it is pretty annoying if one needs to scroll horizontally.

 

I modified John Irving's original post to display a smaller version of his image.

Well, I've never been one to shoot in multiple frames, but I may have missed an

interesting area of photography. For sure, those three shots tell an entire story, and

that isn't always easy to do in three frames. :o)
