Carl Stone
"BW Combs , jun 16, 2004; 11:14 a.m. D70, 80-200 AF" Did you squeeze those pics off individually, or did you shoot in continuous mode? Very nice sequence in any event.

bwcombs
Chris, nice shots. The pics of the subject are great, but what's more compelling are the secondary characters...the frustrated pitcher throwing his glove, and the infielder in the background with his head/eyes to the ground. Nice work. Carl, that sequence was just holding down the shutter, knowing that there was going to be a play at second. Getting the error from the shortstop was a bonus. Lucked out. ShunCheung
Just a reminder that the general rule for photo.net forums is that posted images should be within 511 pixels on the long side. We are not very strict about that rule, but please don't post images that greatly exceed that limit. Some people still use dial-up modems and it takes a long time to download large images. Moreover, it is pretty annoying if one needs to scroll horizontally. I modified John Irving's original post to display a smaller version of his image. Thanks in advance for your cooperation. Carl Stone
"Getting the error from the shortstop was a bonus. Lucked out." Well, I've never been one to shoot in multiple frames, but I may have missed an interesting area of photography. For sure, those three shots tell an entire story, and that isn't always easy to do in three frames. :o)
