Fuji GX 680 users--light fall off?

Do you notice any light fall off when using the maximum movements

allowed with the 680? I've never seen any mention of the need for a

center filter with the 680 lenses so I would assume the light fall

off, if it exists, is minimal.?

I am a landscape photographer and am considering this camera as an

escape from dark cloths, loupes, sheet film, and inverted images on

the GG. The weight and bulk are not a concern as I am used to it

with my current 45 system. The amount of tilt allowed with the III

looks adequate, the amount of rise questionable.

The camera is excellent for the application you describe. As far

as I know, the only 2 lenses that have vignetting problems at all

are the 50 & 65. The others do not vignet at any extreme of the

movements. I have a 100 & 210 only (neither vignet at all) so I

can't say from personal experience, I am telling you what I have

heard from a couple of experienced users.

I've just had my 680 system for about 6 weeks, and am very favorably impressed. It's mainly to be used for landscapes. Fuji's literature says that all lenses except the 50mm have enough image circle to avoid vignetting while using maximum movements. This seems to be true; I've used the 65mm for a number of shots, some with extensive rise/tilt, and no vignetting nor falloff is visible. The 50mm specs indicate that only 9mm rise is available for a vertical shot, and that the top of the viewfinder image will always be cut off. I've seen this cutoff *in viewfinder* with the 50mm, but haven't yet taken an actual shot with it to examine on-film results. (Hopefully to be rectified this weekend)

Regarding actual falloff (i.e. such as when using wide angle LF lenses) rather than vignetting, I don't detect any with any lens. Hopefully that won't change when I've examined results from the 50mm.
