ramon_acosta
I just got it, I love it.But I have to set both regular and flash exposure compensation to plus 1 .1/3 to get a decently exposed picture. Any one else having this problem? I read in a review that the same thing happened to the camera he was reviewing, Is there firmware update out yet, or is my camera out of luck? PuppyDigs
So you viewed your images on a calibrated monitor and produced test prints to confirm this? If so, I'd return the dad burn thang as it's defective. I don't think it's a firmware problem. Sometimes the light’s all shining on me. Other times I can barely see. - Robert Hunter
yakim_peled1
Is it possible that AEC is on? Happy shooting, Yakim.
yakim_peled1
Ignore above post. Didn't proof read. Sorry. Does it happen at all times? If so, the camera is probably faulty but it is strange that you say that the flash needs AEC as well. Can you post some pictures? Happy shooting, Yakim. mark u
I agree with Puppy Face. You could also check the histograms: http://www.outbackphoto.com/workflow/wf_41/essay.html
leopoldstotch
That problem was mentioned on DPreview. Apparently it occasionally underexposes by one stop in evaluative metering mode. I guess if you switch to partial or centre-weighted metering, it will go away.
