davis_yetman
I recently picked up a GS645S with a 60mmF4 lens, in decent condition but without a manual. I have figured out most of the function from other postings but I'm puzzled by a silver lever next to the meter ASA setting area. What is it for? I thought it might be a self timer but that didn't seem to be it. Thanks
mark_edward_seel
It is the self-timer. Slide it down and then push the shutter and it should work. You may have to have the back open to do this if you don't have film in the camera.
todd frederick
I have that camera. It is VERY good. Outstanding lens. Great full or 3/4 length portrait camera...vertical format default. Easy to use, even with flash mounted on hot-shoe. Be sure to wind the film tight when loading. It's a bit noisy, but, DO NOT under-rate it's potential. Work with it. This is one of those "sleeper" cameras that has outstanding performance...in my opinion.
