claudia__
I have been reading about the sort of panoramic images one can get using 120 film and vintage 616 film cameras. I have a Kodak Jiffy 616 loaded with 120 using the original 616 spoool for takeup and a nickel on each side of the 120 feed spool for spacers. Anyone have any experiences with this they would like to share?
lyle_gordon
I have done this with a kodak brownie special and some computer motherboard standoffs as spacers. Here are the images I took: http://members.rogers.com/lgordon/house.jpg http://members.rogers.com/lgordon/neighbors-garden.jpg http://members.rogers.com/lgordon/window.jpg http://members.rogers.com/lgordon/table.jpg -Lyle Gordon

josphy
Yup...it works like a charm. Here are some examples, although I ended up cropping quite a few of them to a 6x9 ratio. http://www.geocities.com/josphy/ There are some photos on there and a link to my method for keeping the film flat and getting 6 exposures (requires counting the "dots" after the numbers in some cases) instead of just five exposures (3,6,9,12,15). jorn ake
Holy cow. I was just thinking about this yesterday while standing with my nose pressed against the glass on the other side of a Kodak 616 camera at the local camera mecca. Spooky. Okay, what am I thinking now? josphy
I'm getting a vision...wait...I see Jorn returning to the store where he pressed his nose against the glass...and money seems to be changing hands... But, please everyone post your results -- I really want to see what other people are doing with the 616 cameras! I find it hard to fill the entire frame with something interesting. miztli
Hi, I had shot a couple of rolls with a Six-16 Improved Art Deco camera. It produces pictures sharp as a knife but with flare. Has any of you had this also? You can find a picture here: http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder.tcl?folder_id=411979
