john_collier2
I just got back from Bob's show at the vaaa galiery in Edmonton. I was very impressed by his work and wish that you all could have a chance to see it for yourselves. Failing that I hope Bob will post two of my favorites. One being "After her Bath" and the other being the one with the woman in the field near a stone wall sorry, I cannot remember the title. Thanks for the show Bob
ralph_barker
Shame on you, John. No images from the show? ;-)
bobtodrick
Thanks John. The people at the gallery figure about 130 people went through in about 2 hours. Four sales at the opening...hopefully more for the month the show runs. I'll try and post the images you liked this weekend.
fredlee70x7
Bob, where is the show? What are the hours? I live in Calgary and love to drive 3 hours to visit the gallery.
bobtodrick
Fred, the gallery (Visual Arts Alberta) is on the 3rd floor, 10215-112st, here in Edmonton. Myself and 2 sculptors are showing...but be forwarned all of the artwork are female nudes. As well at Harcourt House Gallery on the same floor is a major retrospective of Violet Owen, one of Alberta's premier painters/sculptors of the nude. In all there must be 100 pieces. Give the gallery a call (780)421-1731 for hours, just to be safe.
