jan_brittenson
I'll be spending 6-8 weeks traveling northern India with arrival in Delhi in early Feb. I'll be spending time tooling around Rajasthan and the western desert parts, Uttar Pradesh, flying to/from Kathmandu, and possibly also some time in Madhya P. Between these subtrips of 1-2 weeks I'll be returning to Delhi for a few days. I was hoping to get my film (mainly 220 E200 Pro) processed there within a week or two of exposure. I know of Mazda in Mumbai, is there a place of similar quality in Delhi? I'm open to suggestions too, I don't mind giving them a test roll first, then if it looks OK bring in the remainder. Also, is there anyplace to rent a safe locker in Delhi? Someplace to stash processed film and things I may not need at the time. I guess if I pay for a high-end hotel (like Le Meridien) they'll store it for me if I make a reservation, but that's a bit out of my price range. mukul_dube
I used to have my E6 work done at Mahatta and Company and was generally satisfied. However, my stuff was 35 mm. If you wish, I can phone and ask if they do 220 as well. I should think they would, since they are commercial photographers as well. I take it the process is the standard E6; but a test roll is always a good idea. As for storing your stuff, you're welcome to leave it with me. If you write to me at arhardal@netscape.net or 22752067@bol.net.in, my answer will bring you my physical address and so on.
