sandler
...and I have proof here!
This was my first time meeting up with someone who I only knew on- line, and it was a lot of fun. Al is a fine photographer and a friendly guy...I'm glad he posted his invitation to meet up while he was in town, and I'd encourage others to take him up on any other such offers he makes in the future.

sandler
Aw nuts...I grabbed the big image by mistake. A thousand apologies. Let's try again...

brambor
I liked how the last picture had the focus on the cameras instead of Al. Give the guy some respect! ;-)
sandler
Well, he was looking at them so dreamy-eyed, it seemed only appropriate! ;)

m_.
Last one for me as well. Nice to know Al's okay and is having fun. Thanks, Aaron.
hadji_singh
Hmmm... what's Al demonstrating in that third photo?
andy m.
Just a side issue, if they are low resolution Costco scans, I am enthused to get some of my shots similarly scanned and posted. They look better than a lot of other scans I have seen. Nice contrast etc.

paul_neuthaler
Aaron, I lunched with Al in North Miami in February & it was a treat to spend time with him. Wish I had a scanner to send in the pics. he took (I took one of him!). He has a scanner but he needs instruction -- right, Al?

working camera
I thought it was part of Als bail conditions that he was not allowed to cross state boarders?
michael s.
Nope. Al can cross any borders, provided he registers with local Leica users and has coffee with them upon arrival.
michael s.
Forgot to add that I like Aaron's portraits on the linked page. Well done.
al_kaplan1
Thanks, Aaron! I had a great time. Yesterday I went to the hospital where Linda works to meet her co-workers. She had me restricted to ONE Leica body, ONE lens (35/2 'cron) and ONE spare roll of Tri-X! ("But there are THIRTY-SIX pictures on each roll!") Obviously the lady has yet to find True Enlightenment but she loved seeing the pictures! The "toking" photo was just for show. You don't really think that I'd ever done that for real, do you? Hmmmmmph!
sandler
Nobody would dare cast such aspersions, Al!
