olivier_reichenbach
Anyone can sugest a good repairperson for Rolleiflex (2.8F) in the Montreal area, or even in the Province of Quebec? I just want to soften the shutter release, which is a tiny bit stiff, and check the speeds. Thanks.
mskovacs
OK OK I know not La Belle Provence but doesn't Kindermann in Toronto also work on Rolleis? Its not like you're shipping across an international border, just to the centre of the universe.
mike_schram1
You could also try International Camera Repairs in Toronto. I don't think Kindermann repairs the older Rolleis (although they are absolutely excellent for the new stuff- from experience) but Stan at International has kept my MX-V ticking along. Call at 416-255-3072. They're at 816 The Queensway, Etobicoke M8Z 1N5.
vick_ko
Try this one - they service Hasselblad: AMT Service Inc. 5215 de la Savane Montreal QC. Canada H4P 1V4 Phone: 514-738-7044 FAX: 514-738-4229 E-mail: support@amtservice.com
ed_prest
AMT promises a lot but delivers less. Be aware they are a service company fixing all kinds of other consumer stuff - on and off warranty - so they are not truly a 'camera' shop.

craig_chin
I had my Tele Rollei serviced at AFC Camera Service on Beaver Hall, downtown a few years ago. They rarely handle Rolleis but the counter clerk explained there was a retired fellow who worked part time to "keep busy", who had experience with Rolleis. It took the fellow several weeks, but what a difference there was. Focus knob was very smooth with no looseness. The sticky shutter release was now firm and responsive. And the shutter was cleaned so that the slower speeds from 1/8 to 1 second were spot on. You should expect to pay a premium to service your Rollei. I have a 2.8F as well. It's an affliction - this Rollei thing.
vick_ko
Thanks for the advice on AMT. They are listed on Hasselblad's home site. I would expect that being referred-to from the home site would give them a stronger reference. regards, Vick
