SL66 focus screens

I want to repalce the standard screen in my 66, I notice there seem

to be a few people who make them, so i wold appreciate some guidance

or at least to be made aware of the range on offer.

I also notice that there are a few choices as to the type of screen,

after looking at a Beatie site. The differences in how the split

screen circle is divided up i think i can understand, but I notice

that screens come with and without grids. My question may be a bit

naive, forgive me for my ignorance, what advantage do the grids have

on a focus screen?

The screen on the SL66 is the same as the 600x series and the newer TLR Rollei's, this opens up a huge number of options.

Grid screens are a great advantage in getting your verticals vertical and horizons level.

I use a Beattie with grid and split-image focusing. I find it great. It actually allows me to focus on the entire field, very handy to tune the tilt.

 

It is very bright, sometimes it feels brighter than the actual scene :-)

GENTELMEN, do you know anything about other models, i have just been looking at the German Ebay site ( 2 days ago i didnt realise such a thing existed) and noticed a collection of screen for sale for a gx6008. Any idea if they are adaptable? They are sure a lot cheaper
