bwbob
I have had a Zorki 3M with Jupiter 8 sitting in my display cabinet for about 10 years. It is a lovely camera to look at and I did run a roll through it a year afterI bought it from a FSU dealer in the Ukraine. The camera performed flawlessly but I was a little intimidated by having to trim the film leader before loading so it has not gotten significant use since except for exercising the shutter periodically. A couple of weeks ago I found some outdated Fuji 400 Superior in the freezer and decided to give the camera another whirl.
My wife and I live in a town of 8000 bordered on the north by the Los Padres National Forest so the area is quite scenic and wildlife abounds including the California Condor. Because of a painful attack of rheumatism I was unable to get onto one of thr trails as is my custom so i took a few shots in the area around my home and at the local cemetery. Exposures were made with a small Sekonic meter
