Excellent! Gorgeous camera. Salivating.
"Hey man, that's like, knotweed maaaan.."
Very nice Gene. I have been reconditioning an old 2x3 Speed Graphic with parts from two cameras. I hope I can even come close to what you have done with the Crown.
Nice work Mr.M. The Bench and Birch shot is lovely and sure has that glow effect.
Wonderful. Really wonderful.
It's great to have you back with us.
Gene. very well done and well presented,Thanks for the information on how you shot them:
Nice camera, I enjoyed the first shot the best.
I like the first picture most. I always liked Crown Graphics. 'scuse me, but, is the peep hole finder standing up because the camera was happy to see you, or was it the knotweed?
Nice. Makes me want to get my Crown Graphic (4x5) out and take a few photos. Still hoarding some late 80's (kept cold) Kodak Super XX for special occasions. Otherwise, it's Plus-X.
Nice, Gene. Beautiful old camera. The good old trick of rating Tri-X slower and reducing the development has done you proud. Promicrol, the old May and Baker developer, produced amazing negs with Tri-X, using that technique. I haven't tried the reformulated product...
Love the 1st photo most — absolutely amazing tones.
Excellent photos --- welcome back Gene M.!
