db1
Without being funny, how can you tell a Zone VI Modified Digital Pentax meter from one that has not been modified. I am asking because I just bought one for a very reasonable price. It has the "Modified by Zone VI Studios Inc" sticker on the side. But is there another way? thanks, david
alec1
Ask Richard. He was the one that modified them for Fred. Only the modified ones had the "Modified by ..." sticker on the side. http://www.lg4mat.net/ By the way, I understand Calumet has dropped the modified meters. michael_thorne1
In the case of my meter, I still have the receipt from Zone VI who did the modification in 1992. On the outside, there is really little to indicate modification beyond a sticker. A techician ought to be able to identify the non-stock parts inside. Calumet sells a sticker for Zone system for about $3 but this doesn't prove that the interior work was done (new sensor, filters, baffles). To be on the safe side, look for one with the receipt for the modification.
