Zone VI 4x5 serial number

If someone has a copy of the View Camera issue Jan/Feb 2003, p. 34, there is an article regarding serial numbers and manufacturing dates, based on a past thread I came across. <br>

Would you mind looking up serial number 2094 and drop me a line letting me know what year this camera was most likely made please? Many thanks, Steve</p>

<p>The article doesn't provide a list of serial numbers produced in individual years. But it does state that Zone VI started doing their own production in 1988, and serial numbers at that point started at 1000. Production of cameras with gold-plated hardware started in 1991, with serial numbers set at 3000 and above. <br>

The article also mentions that they had produced their 1000th camera by the "Fall of 89".<br>

So that suggests that serial number 2094 was produced somewhere in the late 1989 or early 1990 period</p>
