Ziess 35mm f2 for Mac

Recommended Posts

Hard to tell, not just because of the low resolution of on-screen displays, but also because it shows signs of oversharpening--strong halos along some edges, particularly toward the top--which will create an impression of sharpness. Most true macro lenses are very sharp, but to get a clear view of how this one stacks up, I would want to see a link to the full-sized image, with no sharpening applied.

I do a lot of macro, and in my experience, the amount of cropping can overwhelm lens quality. Even if one had a perfect lens, severe cropping degrades sharpness, depending on pixel density.
