yusef_belade1
URGENT! URGENT! Would soemone tell me which of these cameras is the best mechanically and optically in the 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 format. I'd like to buy one for traveling use and I'm looking at a 532/16, a 533/16 and a 534/16. Any help would be appreciated. Yusef
michellemandat
Yusef, All these good cameras are similar although they have slight differences. I don't own one of them ( I own a 6*9 super ikonta model C) but if I should buy one I will prefer a 531/16 with Opton Tessar f3,5 80mm. gregory_bates
Yusef: I would look for a 532/16 in real good condition with the coated 2.8 Tessar. Flash sync is another option you need to specify. The 532/16 has the automatic film counter whereas the A and the C do not. They operate with a red window. The 532/16 does not have a meter like the 533/16, but light meters on cameras of this age do not last and often times do not work. I have installed a new Gossen Pilot II mini light meter with the optional shoe mount attachment on mine and it has become an extremely nice user and traveller. Good luck Greg
